Three Great Guided Meditations That Are 10 Minutes Or Less

Short and sweet Monday post!

I want to share a few of my favorite guided meditations to possibly inspire you to try this style of meditation. There are so many ways to meditate, but guided meditations are one of my favorites because of two reasons:

  1. You choose the time and it tells you when it’s over.
  2. It’s easier if your mind is chaos and a voice is keeping your thoughts on a visualization or mantra.

There are so many meditation channels on YouTube. But it’s hard to find people with voices you don’t cringe at AND are not longer than 20 minutes. Sometimes you just want a quickie pick me up to find some chill before you start the day.

So here are three of my favorite videos and a brief reason why:

#1: Meditation for Anxiety and Finding Inner Peace by BexLife (10 minutes)

I love this video because of the visualizations. She asks you to picture yourself as a boat on the ocean and provides the mantra throughout the whole practice. It’s over before you even realized you’re super chilled out.

#2: Guided Meditation for Stress Relief by Yoga By Candace (7 minutes)

Candace gets stress and anxiety. I love her voice and how she guides the listener into staying in the present moment. You can keep your eyes open because the video is filled with beautiful shots of Tennessee, so that’s calming too if you’re doing this inside.

#3: Meditation for New Beginnings by BexLife (6 minutes)

This video (which I actually did this morning!) is awesome for a confidence boost. She filmed it on New Years Day 2014 but it remains so applicable to fresh starts. Especially if you’re in a place in life where you’re trying new things or ventures.

If you get through these and you want more recommendations or options in terms of length, voice or style, check out my meditation playlist on YouTube. It’s a collection of all the mediation videos I enjoy and save for later.

I made this to share with others who need direction to develop their personal meditation practice in an accessible way. You can always access this playlist by going to the Resource page on my blog.

If you want to start a regular meditation practice, here’s a past post that can help with that – 5 Simple Tips To Cultivate An Easy Meditation Practice.

Hope this helps! If it does, please share and subscribe to help others find this useful.
